Amiee O’Toole is an Associate Solicitor in Dispute Resolution at Else Solicitors in Burton on Trent.

Amiee gained two years’ experience in a niche commercial law firm in Birmingham before completing her training contract at a Legal 500 National Law firm in London. She joined Else Solicitors in 2014 in the Dispute Resolution department, and was promoted to Associate in July 2018.

Having extensive experience and expertise in commercial and civil litigation, Amiee is well equipped to advise on matters relating to commercial contract disputes, fiduciary duties of directors, shareholder and directors disputes, boundary disputes, landlord and tenant disputes and injunctive proceedings.

Amiee has a keen interest and specialism in contentious construction disputes and regularly provides construction clients with commercial and pragmatic advice to obtain outstanding monies or settle any contractual disputes. She has notably dealt with a number of disputes in respect of the dental industry and regularly supports and advises dentists in respect of contractual claims.

Interests

Amiee has recently accepted a role as Trustee for the Burton Addiction Center O’Connor Gateway Trust. She is a keen traveller and often has travel plans to explore a new part of the world. When she is not travelling you will often find her watching football, in particular Liverpool FC or walking her dog Stevie (G). Amiee is a keen darts player and has recently increased her fitness regime in readiness of her wedding in September 2019.
