January blues are difficult to shake at the best of times, but with Covid restrictions hitting hard, this year feels tougher than ever. It’s the time of the year where resolutions are made – to eat healthier, to get fitter or to do your bit to help those less fortunate than yourself.
While it might be the time of year where resolutions are made, it’s often the time of year where resolutions are also broken – but not by our very own Beth Marsh.
Determined to kick the year off right, Beth set herself a goal and smashed it. Running 5 kilometres for 10 days in a row is no mean feat, but with the motivation of raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support driving her forward, she completed the challenge running over 31 miles and has raised £175 in the process so far.
We would like to extend a huge well done to Beth, and a massive thank you to the team at Macmillan Cancer Support – you’re all heroes in our eyes.
