We are delighted to announce the appointment of Laura Butchart and Daniel Woodall as the latest two lawyers to join Else Solicitors. Their recruitment is testimony to the continued expansion of the Burton on Trent based law firm, which provides a full range of commercial and corporate services.
Both Laura and Daniel recently qualified as solicitors following the successful completion of their two-year training contracts. Laura joins the Commercial Property department at Else Solicitors, and Daniel will work as part of the Dispute Resolution team.
Laura has a first class honours degree from Durham University, a Master’s Degree from University of Dundee, and a Graduate Diploma from University of Law in Nottingham. She also has a Legal Practice Certificate (with commendation). Laura has work experience at a number of high profile companies including Harvey Nash and Leicester City Football Club. Outside of work Laura is a keen sportswoman and is currently training for Olympic distance triathlon events (having already completed an Ironman triathlon!). She lives in Burton with her fiancé and Robson, their Norfolk terrier.
Commenting on her appointment Laura said, “I’m delighted to have been offered this position within the Commercial Property team at Else. The firm is growing really quickly, and it is wonderful to be a part of this expansion.” Chris Else, Managing Partner, added, “We are excited to have secured Laura’s services to our firm. She is incredibly talented and we know our clients are going to benefit from her knowledge, enthusiasm and dedication.”
Daniel has a law degree from the University of Exeter, and a Legal Practice Certificate from BPP in Birmingham. He worked as a paralegal at several law firms before starting his training contract at Else Solicitors. He will be focusing on litigation and insolvency matters. Outside of work Daniel is interested in current affairs, classic cars, and outdoor pursuits.
Commenting on his new role Daniel said, “This is a wonderful opportunity for me to join an award-winning law firm. During my training I found great satisfaction in advising clients in what are typically stressful situations, and take great pride in providing advice that reflects a commercial reality and not an abstract concept in law.” Andy Rudkin, Partner at Else Solicitors and Head of Dispute Resolution, added, “Daniel has shown during his training that he can deliver the high level of legal services that our clients have come to expect. He will be a valuable asset to the firm and our ever growing list of clients.”
