Else Solicitors Win Dental Law Award For Second Time
Else Solicitors have been crowned UK’s Dental Law Firm of the Year for the second successive year.
The Midlands-based solicitors, first won this accolade in 2013 thanks to the votes from the readers of Acquisition International Magazine.
The award was presented to the firm’s Corporate & Commercial department for their outstanding work buying and selling dental practices; including businesses, shares, and property.
Greg Bullock, Corporate & Commercial Solicitor at Else, said: “It is a great honour to be voted the UK’s Dental Law Firm of the Year for 2014.
“I know I speak for everyone at Else when I say that we take great pride in receiving this award.
“The fact that we have won it two-years-running is a testament to the continuously high-standard of work we produce for all our clients.”
Chris Else, Founding Partner at the law firm, added: “We have been specialising in dental law for a number of years and it feels great that our expertise and experience has been recognised by our peers.
“Our Corporate & Commercial team have worked really hard this year to achieve the best results for our clients. This is a much deserved award and a symbol of a job well done.”
Birmingham-based dentist, Tom Fraser, explained his experience: “Else handled the purchase of a recent dental practice for me. This was the first practice I had bought and they were able to keep the transaction as uncomplicated as possible and kept me informed every step of the way.
“If a problem did arise then they would deal with it immediately and discuss all the options to overcome the potential barriers. I would say they went above and beyond to ensure the transaction was done in the most thorough and concise way. I would recommend them to any of my colleagues that were about to embark on a practice sale”
Else’s Corporate & Commercial solicitors specialise in health business law. In this sector, they also represent nursing homes, senior housing businesses, cosmetic surgery clinics, doctors surgeries, veterinary practices, health spas, and pharmacy businesses.
They assist these businesses in writing bespoke terms and conditions (T&Cs), drafting business contracts, buying or selling business property, negotiating commercial leases, handling employment law matters, and buying or selling health companies.
Hydro Healing’s Layla Powell, said: “Buying my first business was not only the best moment in my life, but it was also the most stressful time I have ever experienced. Made only better by the support of my solicitors from Else who were always just a phone call away to advise me, help, and answer any questions or concerns I had.”
Rebekka Fiorani, Practice Manager at Clent Hills Veterinary Group, agreed: “While recovering a debt, we were challenged by a customer on the validity of our T&Cs.
“We discussed the issue and it was agreed we needed to update the T&Cs to protect the company. A partner recommended that Greg Bullock from Else Solicitors should review our T&Cs to see if they could be improved to cope with today’s blame and claim culture.
“Greg met with me at our office and we discussed how the business worked and he generally got a feel for the company. He was extremely helpful. He guided us through the ‘legal jargon’ and now we have very comprehensive but user friendly set of T&Cs.”
