Ian joined Else Solicitors in February 2022 and has over 25 years’ experience in commercial law.
Having qualified as a solicitor in 1997, Ian has worked in practices in Staffordshire and Derbyshire.
Ian specialises in commercial litigation with a particular interest in land and property litigation. He is a member of the Property Litigation Association.

During his career Ian has dealt with cases at both County and High Court level, as well as the Lands Tribunal. On a number of occasions he has dealt with matters that have reached the Civil Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court.
Interests
Outside of work, Ian enjoys shooting and fly-fishing and spending time with his family. Ian is a keen follower of rugby, especially his local team and plays the ukulele – badly!
