Else launches Charity ‘Das Futbol Tournoi’ 14 June 2018

Not content with running one of the best Charity Corporate Golf Days in the Midlands (scheduled for 20th Sept this year, in case you were interested), Else Solicitors are now launching a Charity Corporate 6-a-side Football Tournament. The event is loosely being badged as ‘Das Futbol Tournoi’, as a nod to the European mix of businesses and organisations in and around Burton on Trent.

The football tournament will take place on Thurs 14th June on the 3G astro pitch at the prestigious Burton Albion Football Club (currently playing in the Championship). It will start around midday and run throughout the afternoon on four pitches. It is intended to be a relaxed and chilled event, with music, food, three inflatable ‘football challenges’, and trophies for the winners. Burton Albion Community Trust will be running the event for us, and all proceeds will go to the Burton YMCA Charity. Friends and colleagues are welcome to attend and support too.

We are looking for teams in three divisions, namely Mens, Mens over 50’s, and Ladies. Interest has already been strong, with over 16 teams registered to play. Cost is just £120 plus vat per team, and we can accommodate a maximum of 24 teams.
