GDPR Event Invitation Branston Golf Club Burton on Trent

The new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force on 25th May 2018.

This is a major piece of legislation that affects every UK company holding personal data.

The GDPR demands a high level of consent for marketing activity. Your business must be able to provide proof that consent has been given by the individual to hold and process their data for each marketing purpose. It also requires a robust IT infrastructure and putting policies, procedures and the correct legal documentation in place to prevent breaches and protect your business.

Else Solicitors in holding a GDPR event led by Adam Gilbert, Partner and Head of Corporate & Commercial at Else Solicitors. Adam has considerable experience in handling business-related law; ranging from joint ventures and partnership agreements to terms and conditions, including drafting and implantation of data protection policies, data breach policies and procedures for subject access requests.

The aim of this event is to provide companies with guidance around what to do before this legislation comes into force and how to prevent issues from arising once it is in place.
