An Afternoon at the Rugby

Else Solicitors have sponsored a game per season at Burton Rugby Football Club for the last 19 years and on Saturday were joined by local businesses Knott-Avonride, Alexander Accountancy and Abode Estate Agents in sponsoring the Burton 1ST XV v Broadstreet home game.

This was Else Solicitors first game sponsorship at the new Tatenhill ground, since the move from the historic ‘Peel Croft’ site, after a brief hiatus due to Covid.  As many as 40 guests enjoyed pie, chips and peas as well as seeing Burton 1ST XV win the match, with a close 2-point difference!

Each sponsor donated to a raffle supporting Burton YMCA, which raised an incredible £400!  Vital funds for a charity that provide invaluable support in the local community.
