Else Solicitors Charity Golf Day – funds raised for Burton YMCA

Burton YMCA have benefited from funds raised by Else Solicitors following a golf day recently held at Branston Golf Club.

The annual Else Solicitors Charity Golf Day was held in aid of Burton YMCA and raised in the region of £1,500 from donations taken on the day.

On the day 58 golfers enjoyed a round of golf followed by a meal and prize giving.

15 teams took part with prizes awarded to:

• 1st place team: Protrade (Robert Sanders, Paul Harrison, Pete McGrath, James Harrison)
• 2nd place team: ClientPharma (Gary Campbell, Marcia Campbell, Victoria Parkinson, Nikita Parkinson)
• 3rd place team: Air IT (Craig Carter, Alex Cook, Paul Hodgkinson, Simon Leadley)

Chris Else, Managing Partner at Else Solicitors, said: “It has been a really great day. It is fantastic to get everyone together again in person and raise funds for a very worthy cause.
“The YMCA has had their work cut out for them recently and more people have fallen on hard times, so we are delighted to support them and help them continue their great work locally.”

As well as accommodation they provide practical and emotional support and emergency food to those in crisis. They also have four stores providing affordable furniture for families across Staffordshire and Derbyshire.
