‘Burton Albion Ladies U14’ football team

Else Solicitors are delighted to announce that they are 2018 shirt sponsors for the Burton Albion Ladies U14 football team. This is the first time that the local firm of solicitors have sponsored one of the Burton Albion teams, and they are excited to be involved with the rapidly expanding ladies game.

The Burton Albion Ladies U14 team will play for the first time in the Staffordshire Girls & Ladies League, hosting their home games at Hillfield Playing Fields in Stretton each Saturday morning. This is also the first time that this group have played the full 11-a-side game on a full-sized pitch too.

Paul Harman, Assistant Manager, said: “We are looking forward to the new season and a new challenge in this league. This is virtually a new team with 6 out of the 15 girls signed this closed season. Mike Pegg (Manager), myself, and the girls are all very grateful to the sponsorship provided by Else Solicitors, the shirts look fantastic. We are also grateful of the support Chris Else is giving the team with his contacts.”

Chris Else, Managing Partner at Else Solicitors, added: “We are committed to supporting our community and have a number of events through the year that raise valuable funds for some local charities. We know Paul and some of the team, and so it was an easy decision for us to help with their funding by sponsoring their shirts. We know they are a great group and will be supporting them throughout this exciting season.”

Their first game is on Saturday 15th September vs Stone Dominoes. Kick-off is scheduled for 10am at Hillfield Playing Fields in Stretton, and anybody is welcome to come along and support the team.
